Storm McCrory's boyfriend left home after a fight with his father never knowing that his girlfriend was pregnant with his baby. He became rich and famous on the rodeo circuit and was frequently photographed and reported on in the local newspaper. When, after five years, his father died, Stetson decided to come home and touch base with his sister who was still living on the family ranch.
During the five years that Stetson was making a name for himself on the rodeo circuit, Storm was thrown out of her father's house, rejected by the town's people, and gave birth to a son, Scotty. She was able to get a job as a waitress at the local diner on the graveyard shift earning just enough to cover living expenses for herself and her son. But life had been very hard on her and she was not doing very well.
The story takes off when Stetson returns to town and doesn't even recognize Storm. Once he realizes what Storm has been through and that the young boy is his son decides to make thing right. The characters are likable with a strong story line. This was an enjoyable read.

I bought this the day it came out; and read it in one sitting yesterday. Great story with a happy ending.
This book had an engaging story line and little Scotty actually made me laugh out loud while I was reading.
Kathleen Ball always writes very good books. I love her books. she always keep you wanting more. I would Highly recommend this book for those that want to experience all of the emotions one can have.

Kathleen Ball writes with great passion. Stetson's Storm is a emotional and enduring story. It pulls you into the characters' plight and is filled with action to keep you turing the pages. It is a great continuation to the Lasso Springs saga.
Well once you pick it up you will not be able to put it down. Hard to beleive less than a year ago I didn't read a book unless truly forced.....now I can't put them down when I come across a keeper like this one. Amazingly good series.
